Regardless of their professional titles, names, and backgrounds, there is one thing which they all have in common - their individuality. It is beautifully unique and must be portrayed with an individual approach, through specific choice of composition, color and light. Fine Portrait painting records a person's visual memory at its best and passes it on for future generations.

Ninety percent (90%) of the Metropolitan Museum's collection are commissioned portraits - we see and remember those people today the way they were painted.
